Flash extraction uploads documents to MinerU cloud processing, so confirm data handling terms before using sensitive files. Requires a trusted mineru-open-api CLI. Normal flash extraction is unauthenticated and limited to 10MB/20 pages per document; larger or precision extraction uses the separately authenticated workflow. Output is Markdown, and embedded images may become placeholders.
