What is Aegis
Aegis is trust infrastructure for software and AI agents. Today it independently verifies security-sensitive software changes by connecting findings to evidence, attack paths, threat reasoning and verification state so reviewers can see why a claim should be trusted.
Aegis lives inside VS Code as an extension that scans selected code, workspace and dependencies, then explains each finding with linked evidence, attack paths and verification state. It captures what was claimed, what evidence supports it, what was authorized, and whether the resulting change actually held. Paid and provider-backed analysis is optional, and a website account is only used to link billing identity for advanced capabilities.
Aegis starts free with the Community workflow, which runs locally in VS Code with no website account. Founding Pro adds shipped paid verification and Fix and Prove capabilities for $19 per month, and team and enterprise paths are paid rollouts for organizations.
