What is Bevel
Bevel is a vendor-agnostic control plane for enterprise AI agents. A company defines its agents, context, skills, tools, and permissions as files it owns in its own infrastructure, and Bevel serves them to any agent runtime over MCP. The platform separates four things that fully specify an agent: what it knows, how it works, what it may do, and who it acts as. It runs as a hosted platform or self-hosted, with an open-source core called Hexis.
