FluentDB is a native macOS database client with a built-in AI co-pilot. It connects to PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite and SQL Server, and you can ask a question in plain English and get SQL written against the schema. By default the AI reads the schema rather than row data, connections and credentials stay on the machine, and users can point the co-pilot at their own Anthropic or OpenAI key or run a local model through Ollama. It also offers a schema-aware SQL editor, a table explorer, a data grid and boards of saved queries, with MCP support for external agents.
FluentDB is sold as a one-time lifetime license rather than a subscription: Basic is $54 for one Mac, Pro is $76 for up to 3 Macs and Team Seat is $24 / seat with a minimum of four seats. Every license includes one year of updates, with paid extensions available, and there is a refund if it has not replaced your current client within 14 days.
