What is SkillDiscs
SkillDiscs converts a source you choose into a guided course. Drop in a paper, a book, a video or a repository and it organises the material into a learning flow at your level, keeps the original attached, and puts an AI tutor beside you so any passage can be explained inside the document.
- 01Accepts PDFs, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and EPUBs, with headings, tables, figures and equations read as structure rather than flattened text
- 02Any YouTube video, using captions when they exist and transcribing the audio otherwise
- 03GitHub repositories, articles, links and pasted notes all work as sources
- 04Each Disk combines a clear explanation with source context, recall practice, concept maps and interactive guidance
- 05Concept map of how the ideas connect, with every claim cited so you can check it against the original
- 06The same Disk is retrievable by your agent through REST, MCP or Skill export
There is a free tier and it needs no credit card. Creating Disks and generating explanations, quizzes and images consumes credits; the free tier includes a monthly allowance and paid plans raise it. Reading Disks you have already created does not cost credits.
