What is TasteLab
TasteLab is an AI personalization sandbox for product teams. A team imports a catalog, generates synthetic audiences to model the users it has no data for yet, and compares recommendation strategies side by side to see what each one does to catalog exposure. Results are reported through metrics covering relevance, novelty, diversity, catalog coverage and popularity concentration, and every number comes out of the same engine that would run against real data. The AI can explain a result but cannot change a number, and the implementation outline is presented as a starting point that still requires validation against a team's own data.
