Let Perplexity Computer drive your browser — open sites, read pages, fill forms, and finish tasks in the tabs you already use. OVERVIEW Perplexity is the browser extension for Perplexity Computer, the Perplexity desktop agent app. Install it once and Computer can act inside your existing browser, using the sites you're already signed into — so it can work across your email, feeds, dashboards, and internal tools, not just the open web. You keep the wheel: Computer only acts when you start a task, and only in the browser you pointed it at. Comet works out of the box. Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, and other Chromium browsers work through this extension.

WHAT PERPLEXITY CAN DO FOR YOU

• Open sites and navigate for you — "open cnn.com and summarize the top three stories."
• Work with sites that need a login — "check my LinkedIn feed for updates on AI infrastructure" or "pull last month's invoices from my billing dashboard."
• Fill forms and complete flows — applications, sign-ups, bookings, order forms.
• Work across tabs — compare listings, pull data from a few pages into one answer.

GETTING STARTED 1. Install Perplexity Computer on your Mac, if you haven't already. 2. Add this extension to your browser. 3. In Computer, open Settings → Connectors and make sure the selected browser matches the one you just added the extension to. 4. Give Computer a task. Either pick Browser Use from the connectors list, or just mention the browser in your query ("in Chrome, check my LinkedIn feed for…") — Computer will confirm and use the connected browser.

NOTES

• Computer only drives the browser during a task you started. It doesn't collect browsing data in the background.
• Requires the Perplexity Computer desktop app on Mac. Windows support is coming soon.
• Works with Chromium browsers (Comet, Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, and others).
