What is Swoop
Cinematic screen recordings with auto-zoom, smooth pan, and click effects - right from your browser. Turn flat screen recordings into polished, high-retention videos — in your browser.
Swoop is a screen recorder + AI video editor for Chrome. Capture your screen, then auto-zoom on what matters, add local AI captions, cut dead air, and export a cinematic result. No desktop app. No upload pipeline for your footage.
Perfect for product demos, tutorials, sales walkthroughs, YouTube explainers, and short-form clips.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ AI THAT DOES THE HARD PART ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
- Auto Zoom — Smooth camera zooms follow your clicks and cursor so viewers stay locked on the action.
- Local AI Captions — Word-level captions generated on-device with Whisper. Your audio stays on your machine.
- Neural Silencer — Detect dead air and long pauses, then jump-cut or speed through quiet moments.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 100% PRIVATE BY DESIGN ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Swoop processes recordings on your device. Captions and silence detection run locally (WebAssembly / on-device AI). Your raw footage is stored in your browser’s private storage — not uploaded to Swoop for editing.
Payments (if you subscribe) are handled by Stripe. Footage is not part of that flow.
