## Installation

### Chrome / Edge / Brave 1. Download the latest release `.zip` file 2. Extract the archive 3. Open `chrome://extensions` 4. Enable "Developer mode" (top right) 5. Click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted folder

### Firefox 1. Download the Firefox build `.zip` 2. Open `about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox` 3. Click "Load Temporary Add-on" and select the `.zip` file

## Configuration

1. Click the TranslateX icon in the toolbar 2. Click the ⚙️ Settings icon to open the Options page 3. Configure:

• **Primary Language** — your native language (for text translation)
• **Translate Input To** — target language for input translation
• **Translation Engine** — choose between Google, Bing, OpenAI, or Chrome AI
• **Keyboard Shortcut** — customize your trigger key
• **Extension Language** — choose UI language or auto-detect from browser
