Step 3 — Use your AI assistant exactly as you always do. AI Chat Capture works silently in the background. There is nothing extra to click or remember.

Step 4 — Open the popup to search, copy, or export. Your saved conversations are instantly searchable by keyword, topic, or platform. Found what you need? Copy it to clipboard in one click, or export your entire library as PDF or JSON.

PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS

Permissions we request and why:

• storage — to save your conversations and settings locally

on your device.

• tabs — to detect when you navigate to a supported AI platform.
• activeTab — to read conversation content from the active

AI tab only, when you are on a supported platform.

• scripting — to inject our capture script into supported

AI pages so conversations can be saved automatically.

• identity — optional, used only if you choose to sign in

with Google to activate a Pro plan.

We do not read your browsing history. We do not access any website other than the AI platforms you have enabled. We do not collect passwords, payment details, or personal files. We do not sell your data to anyone.

All conversation content stays on your device. The only data that reaches our servers is your email address and plan status if you choose to sign in for Pro — and that data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

An optional Google sign-in is available for Pro plan activation only. The core save, search, copy, and JSON export features work entirely without an account.
