Quick Rewrite is a private, on-device AI rewriter for Chrome. Click the toolbar icon or press a shortcut while your cursor is in any text field, or right-click on selected text, and the extension rephrases it. Review the result, click Insert, and your original text is replaced. Don't like it? Hit Retry.

It runs entirely on your computer using Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano model. Nothing you write ever leaves your browser.

It also picks up text from shadow DOM widgets, read-only page text, and fields you have already clicked away from.
