ApplyGen

Get an AI first draft of your cover letter, tailored resume edits you approve, and one-click job form autofill. A little job application assistant tool that integrates into your browser for generating cover letters, resume tailoring, autofill and a built-in tracker to stay organized across multiple applications.

It reads the job posting you are already looking at and handles the repetitive parts of applying: a job fit score before you apply, a cover letter grounded in your real resume, suggested resume edits you approve one by one, and form autofill. Every application is logged as you go, so you always know where you applied and what you said.

Key features:

• Match score: A free 0-100 score showing how well your resume fits the role, with the requirements it does not yet evidence. No click and no credit needed, so you can judge a posting before spending effort on it.
• Cover letters from your real experience: Written from the posting on the page and your uploaded resume. No templates and no filler. Export as PDF or DOCX, or open it in a Google Doc.
• Resume tailoring you control: A set of specific edits showing the original line, the suggested replacement, and why it helps for this role. Accept or reject each one. Nothing changes without your approval.
• Application autofill: Fills name, contact details, work history, dropdowns, and multi-page flows across major applicant tracking systems and standard careers pages.
• Screening answers that build up: Open-ended questions, salary expectations, and work authorization are answered from your resume and your saved answers
• History and tracking: Every application logged with company, role, and date, plus a board that follows each one from generated through interview, offer, or rejected.

About us:

It started with a frustration applying to job after job, rewriting a cover letter and reworking a resume for each one, then losing track of where we had applied and what we had said. This tool never submits an application for you. You review every field and every answer before you click submit, and it does not mass-apply or spray applications across job boards. Site access is used to read the job description and form fields on the page you are viewing; your resume and the job description are sent to our API over HTTPS and nothing else is collected. The Google Drive permission uses the drive.file scope, so the extension can only open documents it created for you. We do not sell your data or track your browsing.
