Metrician is a local-first fuel gauge for AI subscriptions. It keeps usage and limit information visible while working, supporting ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, OpenCode Go and Ollama in one Chrome extension, with more providers on the way. At a glance it shows used and remaining allowance for every plan, reset countdowns showing exactly when more allowance arrives, pacing status of ahead, behind or on track for the current window, and alerts when a reset is near or usage is running hot. The popup shows the full picture in one click, and a movable, resizable floating widget can keep limits in view permanently, in horizontal or vertical layout and any of 26 skins from Instrument Cluster to E-Ink Ledger, in light or dark. No account is required, with no telemetry and no ads; provider access is optional and requested only when connecting each service, keeping allowance data and preferences in the browser.
